Union Cabinet approves 3 percent DA hike for Central Government Employees on the occasion of Diwali benefits for more than 1.20 crore employees.
Modi has approved the DA hike on ahead of Diwali season. This Hike is announced by Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
The increase will have an additional financial implication of approximately ₹10,000 crore for the government and benefit 48 lakh central government employees and 68 lakh pensioners.”
